Introducing After School Virtual Art Classes for Kids

We are excited to announce a novel virtual after school arts program for children by BermanSketching.

This After School virtual class is intended for children 9 to 13 years old. For a limited time we are offering an introductory rate of U.S. $150.00.

  • Session Format: Virtual, in real time

  • No drawing skills are required; each child can learn at their own pace

  • Drawing Subject: The Chicago River

  • Age Range: 9-13 years old

  • 5 one hour sessions

  • 3:45 - 4:45 pm Central; 4:45-5:45 pm Eastern

  • Wednesdays: September 2, September 9, September 16, September 23, September 30

  • The course is in English

  • Cost for 5 session class: Introductory rate through August 27, $150.00; the rate increases to U.S. $175 on August 28

  • Your child will receive immediate one on one feedback during the session and a certificate of completion on the last day of class

  • If your child misses a class, we will grant access to a video recording of the session. Your child will be able to email sketches to Joel for written feedback

  • Sessions are limited to 20 students. Enroll now to secure your spot before the class is full






Our virtual program is fun, interactive, and elevated; Your child will learn to freehand sketch from a licensed architect. Freehand drawing is a simple, therapeutic way for your child to communicate and creatively express ideas. Freehand sketching is non-digital, distinct from screens and cell phones. The class will be interactive - students will sketch during the sessions and photograph and email their work for immediate in-class review and encouragement.
